MEMBERSHIP TYPES
The Self Storage Association UK represents a high proportion of all self storage companies and facilities in the United Kingdom along with many of the supplier organisations. It is positioned at the centre of the self storage industry throughout Europe via its membership of the Federation of European Self Storage Associations (FEDESSA) and is able to bring a wealth of experience, know-how and advice to its members.
There are four types of membership of the Self Storage Association:
- Associate (Provisional) membership for any potential or start-up operator leading on to Full membership once the operator is up and running and the membership criteria have been met.
- Full Operator membership open to any UK based operator (subject to membership criteria available from the SSA UK).
- Associate (Supplier) membership for any institution or company (subject to membership criteria available from the SSA UK) which is, or intends to be a Supplier of goods and/or services to providers and operators of self storage facilities.
- Overseas membership is open to any operator anywhere in the World outside the UK.
